3 Months - 4 High Ticket Programs and No Sales - What's Wrong With This Picture?
Yesterday I had a discussion with a gentleman who was considering joining the Free Online Cash System. During our 20 minute conversation it became quite clear that he was new to internet network marketing and had fallen victim to some very unscrupulous sponsors. He was interested in join my program but I ultimately told him that he should not join my business and here's why:
In the last 3 months he has spent a total of $6,000 joining 4 very high ticket programs. I won't mention them here but they are well known programs. He has also spent $3000 in co-op advertising and leads and an addition $400 per month in monthly fees for the programs.
In 3 months he has not made on sale. His sponsors who hounded him to get in the businesses will no longer respond to his emails or phone calls.
I know most of you can relate to this.
Now many of you would say that I should have sold him on joining my business. Although there is no out of pocket cost to join FOCS, he would not be committed to building the business for the required 90 days and would end up joining another program.
1. Wake up! Stop being so gullible. This industry is plagued with unrealistic income claims and unethical sponsors who are waiting to take your money. Just because you sponsor earned $10,000 in 30 days does not mean you will do the same. In some cases your sponsor is not revealing to you everything they did to reach that income. This is the bait that is used to get you to part ways with your cash.
2. How can a newbie with zero internet marketing experience really build 4 high ticket programs at one time? Now, I'm not saying its impossible but highly unlikely that someone with zero internet marketing experience can pull this off. You are spreading yourself too thin. Focus on one business and learn that business from the inside out.
3. Interview your sponsor. Don't just jump into something because someone says you can make money. Go to the search engines and type in their name and see what information is available.
4. Don't be so quick to jump in. Don't get caught up in the impulse buy. Take a step back. Wait a few days then see if you feel the same.
5. Purchasing thousands of dollars in advertising is not duplicatable for your potential team members. Focus on a system that your team will be able duplicate.

So, You Think It Can't Happen To You?
On April 29th my employer of 7 years decided to terminate my employment. Now most people would be upset and angry. Yes, I worked hard for this company. Seven years of politics, low pay and being unappreciated. Disturbing as it might seem I actually walked out of there with my head held high and a smile on my face. (Although, if they had waiting about 15 additional minutes they would have received a resignation letter).
One thing I am happy about is I had the sense to continue to pursue my online marketing business. I am now a full-time marketer and I love it. I get to help people obtain financial independence.
Now, I'm not saying go quit your job today and start a business. If you don't have faith with a job, how will you have faith without a job. No, what I am saying is have a Plan B. Never let your "job" be your only source of income.
There are so many opportunity to build income online...to many to mention. You can see my income source below in previous blog posts. Three days after I was terminated I received a payment from my online business for $350. Here is my payment for this week:
This business is simple to work and has no out of pocket cost to get started. What would you do with an extra $150 every day? Doesn't sound like a lot of money but $150 a day x 31 days is 4650 per month. What could you do with an extra $4650 per month?
